The sensational claim that P Diddy was responsible for hiring a hitman to kill Tupac Shakur has come to light in a new documentary.

Greg Kading, a retired LAPD police officer, claims the murder of the rapper in Las Vegas in September 1996 was planned by Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs.

Speaking on the documentary Murder Rap: Inside the Biggie and Tupac Murders, which is based on the book of the same name, Kading alleges that P Diddy paid Duane Keith ‘Keffe D’ Davis $1m to kill Tupac.

The hit was supposedly passed on to to Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson at some point after the intial agreement was made.

Taped police interviews between Kading and Keffe also feature in the documentary, in which Davis claims P Diddy spoke to him on two occasions to discuss the murders of Tupac and Suge Knight.

It’s not the first time a new theory has presented itself about the circumstances surrounding Tupac’s death, with some going as far as to claim that the rapper faked his own death.
