SHOCKING FOOTAGE: Man chases Plane down runway!

A Ryanair passenger caused havoc at Madrid’s main airport as he managed to get past a closed boarding gate, jump off a jet bridge and run towards his plane which was about to taxi down the runway.

The passenger was too late to board the flight but managed to somehow evade staff at the boarding gate. The plane had pulled back from the terminal and was almost ready to depart

Footage of the foolhardy man shows him nervously sitting on top of the jet bridge which is 8-10ft off the ground and then leaping off with his two bags. He paused to speak to a member of ground staff before dashing towards his plane which was preparing for take off. Luckily he was apprehended by other staff for his own safety. Needless to say he didn’t make the flight!

The insane escapade was filmed by a member of ground crew and posted on Facebook.  A Ryanair spokesperson said the incident was ‘a security breach.’ The man may face charges for putting himself and others at risk. One thing is for sure, he’ll have to fork out for a new flight home!
