Sands End Youth Club [Short Documentary]: SBTV

We’re always making sure we are providing a platform for talented musicians but every now and then, interesting schemes come along with an inspiring message that we want to share with you all.

Jamal Edwards MBE, who surprised the team with a visit recently stated: “There is unfortunately still rivalry between people from different post codes in London and it is very important that young people are given the chance to mix with people from different areas. I was lucky when I was growing up, my love of filming artists took me all over London, and allowed me to mix with people from different areas, but many of the people I grew up with didn’t venture out of their area. Projects like Sands End Youth Club are really exciting and I hope to see many more of them in the future. SBTV came along to film and talk to the people behind it, and we made this short film.”
