‘Netflix glitch’ puts comedy show subtitles on nature documentary
The only thing that could make this better is David Attenborough reading them out
Nature shows can usually only be improved by the dulcet tones of David Attenborough .
But an apparent Netflix glitch meant that a BBC show about wildlife got a hilarious makeover, according to one Imgur user .
BenMeiri84 uploaded a series of photographs of the television featuring an array of wild animals where the subtitles didn’t quite match the images.
Although you might say they improved them…
In one, a wolf narrows his eyes as if he is deep in thought, while the subtitles read: “Bought the wrong toothbrush. Should’ve done more research!”
One might argue that they actually improved the show, making it look like the animals were talking (and some of them were being rather rude).
He captioned it: “A friend was watching some BBC nature show on Netflix and a glitch on Netflix cause it to have Aziz Ansari’s stand up special’s subtitles.” (sic)
Ansari is an American actor and comedian known for his roles in Parks and Recreation and Master of None – and definitely nothing to do with the world of wildlife.
