The AIM Awards is going virtual for the first time this year with a variety of live performances celebrating 10 years of championing the unparalleled creativity and innovation of the UK’s independent music community. Tune in for free from 7pm on 12th August to watch the action unfold.

Nominees have now been announced for all of this year’s categories, as well as the exciting news that AJ Tracey will be taking home this year’s Innovator Award, with Little Simz picking up the Pioneer Award, Helen Smith receiving Indie Champion and afrobeat legend Tony Allen being posthumously awarded Outstanding Contribution to Music. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by tastemaker DJ and leading voice of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Rap Show, Tiffany Calver.
